Site Licensing Practica Musica 7

The new Practica Musica Version 7 Site Edition is designed to allow students to download it to their personal devices, whether those devices are their own computers or devices loaned out by the school. If the program is not already present on the computer, the student can download it without charge using a link we provide the license holder. At the first launch the program is "signed in" using only the student's name and the name of the "Webstudents" account associated with the license. Students need no serial number or password, and the number of students who can sign in is limited only by the size of the license. Once signed in, student names appear in Webstudents allowing an instructor to follow student progress online. Instructors also can upload particular activities as assignments, if desired.

Once a student has signed in on either a Windows 10 or Apple Macintosh computer, the student's personal data will follow to any other device the student uses, so long as the student is logged in to that other device with the same Windows i.d. or Apple i.d. The student's personal file also is stored to the cloud on Ars Nova's own servers. The Windows and Mac systems will take care of coordinating the student's personal data across multiple machines. The key to this, of course, is that the student is logged in to each computer using the same Windows i.d. or Apple i.d.

Individual licenses for Practica Musica 7

What used to be called the "Student Edition" is now offered at the Windows Store and the Apple Mac Store, at essentially the same price as before. We have direct links to the Stores at our ordering page, and students can also find the program by searching either store for "Practica Musica." Students, again, do not need a serial number or confirmation number. They simply provide their names at the first launch so their progress files can be identified by an instructor, if using the program for a class.
